“ The proprietors, Rose and Ray, are wonderful. Trails End is in the middle of nodamnwhere but it is a marvelous little restaurant. Rose and Ray are not your typical backwoods restaurateurs. They are intelligent, friendly and kind and they are good to everyone who walks through their front door. They serve the most delicious breakfasts and lunches. If you are old enough to remember the sitcom Alice there was a waitress on the show that was full of sass and wit whose tagline was Kiss my grits! If ownerwaitress Rose had a tag line it probably would not have a PG rating! She has that wonderful blend of wit, charm, kindness and smartassery that makes her a wonderful mountainrestaurant owner, waitress and host! Love going there, love eating their delicious food, love the lively banter! Great people! I go there every weekend that we spend at our cabin in Central! ”

“ We visited here from Baltimore on Oct 19, 2022. We were camping at Ricketts Glen State Park and it was too cold 28 F to cook breakfast so we hit this place. What a great little place in the middle of nowhere! Service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal. Reminds me of some of the best diner type comfort food you could have. ”

“ Really hits the spot after hiking with a youngster on your back. The cheese steak with everything was great. Good onion rings too ”
“ No collegegirl waitresses in plastic aprons here. This is a downhome, clean restaurant that serves delicious, freshmade comfort food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Be prepared...they only take cash, US dollars. ”
“ Good food and good soft ice cream. ”
